How To Approach an Ultra or Ironman

Jordan Rapp quote sums it up!

This Jordan Rapp quote sums it up.
"It's about the process. It doesn't matter what you do tomorrow and it doesn't matter what you did yesterday. It's about today, and making today count. That's especially true in training, but it's the same mentality that I carry into racing. Focus on the task at hand, not on the finish line, or the next part of the race, but what it is that is right there in front of you in the moment."

Stoopid Mud,Stoopid Orthotics, Stoopid Cemetery,Stoopid Blisters,Stoopid Ironman,Stoopid Man Made Global Warming*

 How to treat a Blister.
You get a rusty knife that you are planning on selling in a garage sale, and poke the blisters, and drain.

Then, you numb the area with something cold.

On the bright side, I set a 2010 PB for my measured hilly 13.1 mile cemetery course of 1:47:21, which surprised me since I did it yesterday in 1:49;51. The 2 hour bike rides are killing my running, I would be way ahead of where I am if I wasn't doing the cross training. I will find out Sunday how my endurance is, as the Fat Ass Pylons have a 3 hour+ run planned for Hilton Falls.I'm gonna use the Vespa. And I'm bringing the camera.

  2. You have to believe in global warming. I'm doing everything I can to increase it!

You need to be sure to repeat your step 2 for blister care over and over again.
