How To Approach an Ultra or Ironman

Jordan Rapp quote sums it up!

This Jordan Rapp quote sums it up.
"It's about the process. It doesn't matter what you do tomorrow and it doesn't matter what you did yesterday. It's about today, and making today count. That's especially true in training, but it's the same mentality that I carry into racing. Focus on the task at hand, not on the finish line, or the next part of the race, but what it is that is right there in front of you in the moment."

Day 4- Looking For a Dream Home (Part Two)

More photos. The order is kind of screwed up, some of them are Portage's,some are mine.I forgot to mention the area has a golf course, marina as well as the "Fairwinds Centre" which has a 20 meter pool, weight room, sauna, hot tub etc.The roads have bike lanes, and you could easily plan many different "century rides".
The View from the top of Nanoose

More wildlife.

I told you they were screwed up. This is the lower level deck of one of the cottages.

This house was empty, except for this Cadillac in the garage. Wonder if it's included?

The front yard of the turret house

Looking up at the turret house from the ocean. Can you tell I loved this place?

I would cut the top off the turret and put a skylight in.

The view from Portage's favourite, the one with the concrete decks and huge beams.

"Mistaken Island". Not sure how it got that name.

The marina. We would have to learn how to sail. They have boat sharing and you can crew for people until you learn.
Thanks Karen! Tomorrow, Digger and Portage go for a run and visit with her brother and our 2 nephews.
