This is the kitchen inside a dorm room at UPEI. It's bigger than The Boy's whole room at Dalhousie. We were amazed at the size of the dorm rooms here. |

This is the location of the French Capital when France claimed PEI. It was called Port-La-Joie (Pronounced Port Lah Jwah). The English took PEI over after the Treaty of Paris in 1763 and set up a new capital city across the river in Charlottetown. Port-La-Joie is now just an empty field. |
|
One of the famous red roads of PEI. That used to be a wooden pier at the end of the road. |

They call them rivers, but it's an inlet from the ocean. That's Charlottetown on the other side. We could hear "The Tragically Hip " playing at the Canada Day celebrations. The Girl is not a fan. |

New boardwalk at Greenwich Beach. Last time we were here, 17 years ago, it was undeveloped, only known to the locals. |

Wanna go swimming? Water temp in the Atlantic is 12˚C. Brrrrrr. |
Great weather the whole trip. The Girl says she's going to UPEI, and I can see why. Very friendly people and good food.Small classes and huge dorm rooms.
I'm gonna try the 4 hour run again tomorrow. It's supposed to hit 100˚F. I'll start outside, but might be stuck inside on the treadmill if it gets too hot.
