Temps in the mid to high 20˚C (70+˚F) for all of April so far. I opened the pool March 31st, the earliest date in 5 years, and the trails are in the best shape ever for this time of year. I'm putting in lots of miles preparing for the Seaton Trail 52k in Pickering, which is coming up in less than two weeks.Feeling good!
Here's the pool, March 31st. Smells like a swamp.
So you let the filter run a while, and voila!Terri,Hannah,Coal and Ben enjoying a hot spring day by the pool.

These are my road shoes. Somehow wound up in mud on the trail. DOH.
The view from the bottom.Reality is coming, it's supposed to go to 9˚C by the weekend.

Jordan Rapp quote sums it up!
This Jordan Rapp quote sums it up.
"It's about the process. It doesn't matter what you do tomorrow and it doesn't matter what you did yesterday. It's about today, and making today count. That's especially true in training, but it's the same mentality that I carry into racing. Focus on the task at hand, not on the finish line, or the next part of the race, but what it is that is right there in front of you in the moment."
