How To Approach an Ultra or Ironman

Jordan Rapp quote sums it up!

This Jordan Rapp quote sums it up.
"It's about the process. It doesn't matter what you do tomorrow and it doesn't matter what you did yesterday. It's about today, and making today count. That's especially true in training, but it's the same mentality that I carry into racing. Focus on the task at hand, not on the finish line, or the next part of the race, but what it is that is right there in front of you in the moment."

  2. Can't wait to hit the trails again! I haven't been this sore since my last road marathon 7 or 8 years ago. Stoopid roads. We hiked the Tortoise Preserve today, remember the 45 minute run that turned into an hour and a half? Zion Canyon tomorrow, Bryce Canyon on Tuesday.
    The Pylons miss you!

  4. Congrats on the PR!

You will LOVE Bryce Canyon, thought it was much cooler than Zion. Though there are parts of Zion I need to get back to check out.

Try the Flying Monkey in Springdale, UT, when you're near Zion. They serve brews from the very local Zion Brewing Company.
