How To Approach an Ultra or Ironman

Jordan Rapp quote sums it up!

This Jordan Rapp quote sums it up.
"It's about the process. It doesn't matter what you do tomorrow and it doesn't matter what you did yesterday. It's about today, and making today count. That's especially true in training, but it's the same mentality that I carry into racing. Focus on the task at hand, not on the finish line, or the next part of the race, but what it is that is right there in front of you in the moment."

Stage Two Photos

The sun comes up over a reservoir on Day Two.We would run along the bottom of the huge rock dam that created it.

This is the bottom of the dam. That's the trail, and it's 95˚F. Good news-A thunderstorm is coming and 3 out of 4 of us will finish before it hits.

                                         Coming into the finish line.

(Top) Cyrus and Digger celebrate a great day in Tennessee. Captain busts a move bringin' it home.

Drenched Dora finishes while the men hide in the car. This photo was taken through a rolled down window. When they get a thunderstorm and it's 95˚F , it is pretty spectacular.
